Salt and Light

We are repeatedly reminded and challenged by the portion of scripture found in Matt 5:13-16:

You are the salt of the earth... You are the light of the world...

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

This forms the basis of our vision:

As a result of effective evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, worship and service, Revival Centre Ministries is to be 'Salt' and 'Light' to our world through personal and collective ministry.

Reaching out

Our ethos is best represented by our ‘logo’, Felix who, with Christ as our centre, has arrows for hand and feet. In this self-absorbed world are to be constantly reaching out and affecting others for Christ.

The primary outworking of this vision currently is in the form of CONNECT GROUPS.

In keeping with the church described in the Book of Acts, Connect Groups meet regularly in people's homes for the expressed purpose of ‘connecting’. With the composition of groups based on common needs we experience strong bonds forming as folk support each other both in prayer and in practical ways, ensuring every person in the church has someone they can call on in time of need.

This concept has proved particularly effective in Zimbabwe as it creates a network through which essential needs are met such as consumables (cooking oil, sugar, tea, mealie meal, flour), clothing, blankets and emotional support.
