StructureSFOH1

When God wants His work done He raises a leader or leaders to get that work done. In our local congregation that leader is referred to as the Senior Pastor (See Pastor's Profile). He motivates, inspires and encourages the team and keeps them accountable for the fulfillment of the vision of the house. The importance of leadership cannot be overemphasized and that is why we believe that Character precedes Charisma and hence all our leaders are expected to maintain the highest standards of honesty, integrity and loyalty.

SD4True leadership expresses itself through servanthood. We place a high value on relational fellowship which we believe gives us accountability to each other and to God in matters of doctrine and lifestyle. The final responsibility for the assembly lies with the full Council of Elders (inclusive of the Pastors). This forms the Oversight of the Assembly.

Our Deacons work in conjunction with the Oversight and submit to the authority of this body. A position of 'Deacon' is one of responsibility, accountability and decision-making. Known from their sphere of influence, our deacons are trusted among the people and are team players, competent, intelligent and empowered for the task (Full of the Holy Spirit). Deacons take the initiative as regards church affaires, are worthy of respect, faithful and tested. See 1Tim 3 & Acts 6
